Many of the technologies can require embedded applications and IT applications to implement. LHP has expertise in the technologies required for implementation of a clean energy policy, including battery management systems and energy network systems. LHP already enjoys relationships with many of the participating companies, and we understand the technologies that are necessary for the production of products in a green manner.
LHP enjoys substantial experience in the automotive industry, using controls technology to help improve emissions and fuel usage by engine applications. We are extending the focus to include other alternate energy sources to help clean our air and prevent pollution.
Two more areas in which we can provide support are hybrid vehicle applications and smart power systems associated with the energy infrastructure. These two technologies are linked in that for hybrid electric applications to become commonplace for consumers, the smart grid capabilities need to be incorporated into our electric power infrastructure. Hybrid electric vehicles will put a substantial amount of increased demand on an already heavily loaded power grid.
Other clean energy initiatives to which our technologies can be applied include the overall integration of power systems including power generation, smart grid, plug-in/hybrid electric vehicles, wind-farm, solar energy production and biofuels.
