LHP Software Solutions Division Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification

 LHP’s Software Solutions division (LSS) is now ISO 9001:2008 certified for its Quality Management System!  The Software Solutions division passed its audit this February with flying colors for the processes it put in place for project estimations, proposals, execution and delivery.  Our implementation of ISO requirements includes Quality Manual and Document Control, Management Review, Planning of Product Realization, Design and Development, Customer Satisfaction, Internal Audits, Continual Improvement, Corrective/ Preventive Action and many other key quality areas.  We sought ISO 9001 certification specifically to deliver project solutions to clients in a reliable, repeatable manner that ensures customer satisfaction.  “The ISO 9001 certification of our Quality System demonstrates our commitment to continually improve our processes,” says Joseph Mathew, General Manager of LHP Software.  “We always strive to deliver results that exceed our customers’ expectations and this certification is a milestone that shows our determination to do that every time.”  For LHP’s Software Solutions division, this milestone is only the beginning of an ongoing effort to propose and deliver on all projects under a quality system.  We look forward to the journey ahead of us and the results that will follow.   

One of LHP's Own Presented with the Community Service Award

Ryan Hou, along with his wife Jean, received the Community Service Award in Columbus, on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.  The Chamber and Columbus Enterprise Development Corp. recognized Ryan and Jean for their dedication to the city's businesses, organizations and events. LHP is honored and proud of this distinguished service accolade and is committed to providing outstanding customer service that reaches beyond their customer base.

LHP Announcement of Promotions

Joseph Mathew has been promoted to General Manager of LHP Software reporting to David Glass.  Joseph has been with LHP since 2003 and has continued to demonstrate solid leadership as a key contributor to the growth of the company while previously leading LHP IT Applications division and, more recently, LHP Software Solutions division.  Joseph has an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and combines a solid technical background with extensive business and organizational leadership capabilities.

Tara Vatcher has been promoted to President of the LHP Software Solutions division reporting to Joseph Mathew.  Tara has been with the LHP Company since it was founded in 2001.  Since then, Tara has been able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills while she was in charge of LHP's Embedded Software division.  More recently, Tara was the Operations Manager for the LHP Software Solutions division.  Tara holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Businss and will continue to combine her organizational skills with her engineering background to help LHP expand capability in our project based outsourcing organization.

We are honored to recognize both of these individuals as they continue to demonstrate a strong commitment and dedication towards the future growth of LHP.
